How to Get Started, fees, How to Contact me

Fees

  • Most insurance does not cover couples counseling - please check with your plan.
  • For individuals I am a provider for a number of health insurance plans:
    • Premera  (Often listed at Blue Cross/ Blue Shield)
    • First Choice
    • Any plan which allows for an "out of network" provider
If you have ever been the victim of a crime, it may be possible to have your therapy paid for through Crime Victim's Compensation, for which I'm a provider.

How to contact me and get started:

Please call me to set up an appointment. 206-713-0497 On the phone I will answer any questions you have about counseling, fees, directions to my office, etc. The first appointment is a time for you to share what issues you want to work on, and for me to talk with you about how we might work on those issues and for each of us to assess if this is a right fit. At your second or third appointment we would make a treatment plan, which would be our agreement of what issues, goals, and desired outcomes to be worked on. This plan can be modified at any point you like, and will give a sense of how long counseling might take. I generally see people once a week, and we would pick a regular time for your appointments.
